Vat tu du?

Rinkimai, rinkimai artėja, kad juos kur. Vat ir iškyla tada tokie egzistenciniai klausimai - už ką balsuot? Iš esmės juk mes ant Lietuvos neturim normalių politinių partijų, kurios vadovautųsi konkrečiomis ideologijomis, o tik kažkokius neaiškius tvėrinius, besimaskuojančius po tam tikrais pavadinimais. Vien jau ko vertas Kirkilo pasisakymas apie alkoholio reklamos draudimą: "Nemanau, kad draudimais galima kažką pasiekti" ar mūsų liberalų balsavimas dėl valstybinės šeimos politikos koncepcijos... ech.

O pasikalus politologė sako, kad Lietuvoj išvis politikos nėra. Na va, tai veik trečiojo pasaulio šalis esam... Nei folitikos, nei folitinių fartijų, nei friekinių dantų...

Na, užtat žinau, už ką tikrai nebalsuosiu - nei už Valinsko visų žvaigždžių partiją ((c) Roota), nei už betvarkę ir bezpredielą - tikrai nenusipelnė. Nei socdemai, nei Frontas. Beje, remiantis paskutiniais duomenimis, sunkiai Paleckiui sekas su kadrais, mat paskambinus į biurą atsiliepia ne kokia tai partijos sekretorė ar panaši belenkokio svarbumo administracinio aparato atstovė, bei ogi votgi takže ne kas kitas, kaip pats partijos galva. Lengvas nustebimas pagauna, bet nieko. Po to, kai man, asmeniškai man, o taip pat asmeniškai pusei Lietuvos paskambino pats Artūras Zuokas, gyvenimas įgavo naują prasmę! Tik vat damn, neturiu telefono aparato su toninio rinkimo režimu, tai su tuo sovietinius laikus menančiu daiktu, liaudyje plačiau žinomu kaip telefonas, nepavyko man apie Artūro ir jo partijos žygdarbius susižinot.

Bet nieko, dar liko laiko, dar ką nors išsirinksiu. Arba, gero draugo patarimo vedamas, pripaišysiu kiaulių ant rinkimų biuletenio :) O įkvėpimui siūlau užmest akį į Rootos straipsnį bei mūsų politikų blockbuster'ius

O šiaip, kas dėl ėjimo balsuoti ne ten, kur esat priregistruoti - nifiga netiesa, kad negalima. Dar ir kaip galima! Einat į tos vietos, kur gyvenat, savivaldybę spalio 8 ar spalio 9, turėdami iš Vyriausiosios rinkimų komisijos tinklapio atsispausdintą rinkėjo pažymėjimą ir balsuojat, balsuojat, ir dar kartą balsuojat.

The music is magic. I have two clips for you, the ones I really like.

First - more of Goldfrapp. This song has a mysterious sound to it, I think it would definitely find its place in a Bond movie, as it has that certain something. It's name - Human



Are you human or a dud? Now that's a good question...

The other one is by Röyksopp - an electronic music duo from Norway. I just fell in love with the song and the clip - it's different in so many ways! Rapid, but at the same time it gives you a feeling of security. Rebellious, but there's still room for tradition. Anyway - Only this moment:

Chicago

No no no no no - haven't been there yet :) Although I wouldn't really resist the offer - I always wondered what is it like in the country that people tend to go to and live the American Dream. Alright, it's not as mass as it used to be, but it's still happening.

And my Finance and Business IT Systems' lecturer said this week that he hopes to be alive on the day that the US are no longer the world's strongest economy, hehe. Well - good luck to ya. Quite frankly... I wouldn't mind seeing that either. Just out of curiosity, you understand.

Yes, that's right - I'm attending classes in university again! And to top it, I also became a mentor for two Erasmus students that came to study here. Erasmus is a Europe-wide student mobility programme of the EU. And a mentor is someone who meets the international students at the Airport, and guides them around. Fun. Especially al the parties.

Anyway... moving on to the REAL topic of this post (would you believe it?! There actually is one!). I thought I should let you in on one of my favourite movies - "Chicago". Rarely does Hollywood produce anything as good as this (IMHO). Here are some of my favourite moments!

Yeah. I know. Bad quality. That's why you have to watch the movie and really see her performance - definitely worth it! That's Queen Latifah performing (duuuh - but just in case you didn't know)

The Finale - wow, what a show! I could watch them forever!



And there's more to the movie than just this. If you have an ear for jazz and enjoy a good movie (and are living on a deserted island - only this fact could justify the fact that you've still haven't seen it! Okay - either that or being abducted by aliens, who hypnotised you into thinking that you hate the actors in this movie and it's really crap) - go for it. Seeing it twice (thrice, four times... you name it, personally, I've lost count) is also a good idea ;)
